As the owner and founder of Kasco Tile, Dan Kasman is looking to change the way the tile industry works. Cutting corners and taking the easy way out is against Kasco’s core values, and Dan looks to show the quality and care of his work no matter how big or small the client. As the child of two artists, a potter and a painter, Dan found his own art form in tile work. After a childhood of tinkering around and putting things together, Dan knew that he wanted to pursue a career in construction. He broke into the industry at just fifteen, and by age twenty-four he was working with the tile union- working on buildings across New York City before he pursued his own business in 2020.
With his own business, Dan has been able to follow his dreams of making his clients’ visions come to life. With quality work that lasts a lifetime, Dan knows his work will be able to be enjoyed by generations to come. He is constantly continuing his education on everything tile related- from new materials, equipment, proper building practices, and industry guidelines. In December 2021, Dan became one of less than 1,800 Certified Tile Installers (CTI) nationwide at the time of his certification. Tile installation does not require a certification, but Dan doesn’t miss out on any opportunity to improve his work.
